The Brookvent range of whole house ventilation systems:
Brookvents heat recovery ventilation systems are designed to allow you to choose a system which is best suited to the property design; helping to ensure the energy efficient ventilation of the property is maximised.
Other whole house mechanical ventilation systems are Positive Input Ventilation (PIV) and Mechanical Extract Ventilation systems (MEV). Whilst these systems do not have as high energy efficient standards as heat recovery systems, they are in themselves energy efficient and are excellent ventilation solutions.
Ventilation strategy
A good energy efficient ventilation strategy should always remove the pollutants at source and provide fresh background energy efficient ventilation. MVHR systems (mechanical ventilation systems with heat recovery) and MEV (Mechanical extract ventilation) are designed to meet this criteria. MVHR are the only systems that can be fitted with no trickle vents. In some renovation applications it is not physically possible to fit a MVHR or MEV system in these scenarios a PIV (positive input ventilation) system can be a practical solution.

Control Systems
All Brookvent systems come complete with optimised control features as standard. The Digital Intelligent Control System utilises an ECO mode to ensure that precisely the right amount of ventilation is provided, thus eliminating the higher energy costs and health risks associated with the common problems of over and under ventilation. A multi function autoboost facility and night/away mode, complete with 5/2 day timer, also enhances the system's functionality and airflow management.
